My sincere condolences to Richard's family.  I remember talking to him online within the last year, and reminiscing about the good old days at Hialeah High.  I will always remember him as an athlete and rather quiet guy who will be missed by many.

I am so very sorry to hear about Richard. He was a really good guy at Hialeah High and I'm sure that never changed. He was always very kind and I enjoyed our talks while walking to class. My sincere condolences to his family. May he Rest In Peace.

I'll always remember us playing baseball, you for the North Hialeah Optimists and me for Immaculate Conception. Going together to masters Field to watch the drag races between Don Garlits and David Smith. Your exceptional talent as a football player. Truly a gentle giant with a quiet sense of humor. Your full page inscriptions into both mine and Lynda's high school annuals. You could have been a writer. Take care Cuz RIP

God really blessed our class and Richard Eary was one of His best GIFTS! His kindness, humor, and friendship touched many of us deeply. I know I speak for Pat Gispert, Ricky DeLopez, John Girling, and so many of us who enjoyed his friendship. It was such a pleasure to recently reconnect with him and share the laughter and stories of the events we experienced. Kathy Deprado was the person who told me of his death. To his family I would only say that his life was well lived and all that knew him, loved him. His friendship, the gift of his spirit, and the memories of profound and humorous moments, will always be with us, as will he. The gift of having known him will sustain us, and will always be, just a little greater, than the pain of his loss.

His life was "gift" and the only way down from this mountain of grief, will be to walk "in Gratitude".

Thank you Rich, my friend.

I was married to Richard and we had little girl. Stephenie was truly the apple of his eye. He was devoted to her and her daughters Rebecca and Valerie. He was the love of my life as I was his. We were divorced but the love was always there and he told everyone there is only one true love. He came and sat with me just a few days before he passed and never failed to tell me. I will always miss him and will see him by our heavanly father.
