I knew David from symphonic band and the German Club. As was the case with many HHS classmates, lost contact after graduation. He was a true gentleman! I came across this article from the Miami Herald dated May 11, 1978. May he rest in peace and his service to our country never be forgotten!
I didnt realize this. Thank you for posting the article. I remember David from Symphonic Band also. He really was a nice person and had a great laugh and smile. I can still see him. Good memories. So young. So many lost. I'm grateful for their service.
Gene - Thanks for posting this. I knew Dave had died in the service but didn't know the details. He and I were close friends during and after high school, but lost track of each other at some point. We went to Jamaica together for a week in 1968 and had a fabulous time. Truly a great guy and good friend.
