EDWARD P. SOUTHERN


 

Edward Patrick Southern, age 70 of Archer, Florida passed away Monday, April 20, 2015. He was born August 8, 1944 in New York City, New York.


He worked for Bellsouth/AT&T for over 40 years as a marketing consultant until his retirement. Edward served in the Florida National Guard for 30 years and retired at the rank of Major. He was a member of Queen of Peace Catholic Church. He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Teresa Ann Southern; daughter, Stephanie Southern; granddaughter, Lacey Southern; future son-in-law, Terry Persampieri; sister, Mary Elizabeth Southern of Middleburg; brother, Joseph William Southern of Thailand; mother and father-in-law, Ramona and Fred Keith; sister-in-law, Heather (Micah) Shanks and their 5 children, Lora, Joshua, Jacob, Scott and Mae.

 
A gathering of family and friends will be held Friday, April 24, 2015 5:00 to 7:00p.m. at WILLIAMS-THOMAS FUNERAL HOME WESTAREA, 823 NW 143rd Street. Nancy Lundblom (Blizzard)

I didn't know Ed in school, but worked with him at BellSouth for quite a few years.  He was a good worker and very involved in the military.  We often talked about our days at Hialeah High, and I was sorry to learn of his passing on Facebook.  My condolences to his family.
