David Czyzewski

October 18, 1946 - January 31, 2022  Davie, Florida - David Czyzewski, 75, of Davie, passed away January 31, 2022. Born in Wheeling, West Virginia to Stephen and Elizabeth Czyzewski, David moved to Miami at an early age where he graduated from Hialeah High. He was an All County Basketball and Football Player. David began working at the age of 18 at Toby Painting. He then proudly served in the United States Coast Guard. He began his lifelong career at Florida Power and Light where he proudly worked for over 40 years. David had a lifelong passion for dirt bikes and during his younger days was ranked in the top of his class in the state of Florida. David was a fixture at all his grandkids' sporting events and at times was kindly asked to leave by some of the referees. David was the most incredible husband, father, grandfather and friend anyone could ever ask for. His son Stevie remembers his father constantly jokingly using a line from his favorite movie, Smokey and the Bandit. "There's no way, no way you are from my loins". One of David's favorite sayings was, "We got the world by the tail." He is survived by his wife June "Candy"; son Stevie (Marilyn) Cuevas; daughter Krissy (David) Cowheard and five grandchildren Carlye, Taylor, Zach, Lauryn and Kasey. The family will be planning a Celebration of Life Service at a later date.

Arrangements entrusted to Valerie Panciera's Landmark Funeral Home, 4200 Hollywood Boulevard, Hollywood, FL 33021. Please share your memories of David and leave online condolences at www.landmarkfuneralhome.com

A friend to all who were fortunate enough to have met him. He was in charge of the monthly Florida Power and Light Retirement  breakfast. He cared about everyone, Are your children OK, how's the family, how are you. Without a doubt one of the most sincere, kindest and appreciative people anyone could ever meet. A sense of humor that would leave people crying at some of his jokes or quick replys. In today's world of so many problems and unhappy people he was truly a Saint with a sense of humor that drew people to him. God Bless David Ski and his family.
