Surprised and sadended to hear this. I just knew Kirt briefly in high school but we connected on Facebook awhile back and would share our same humor and politics in messages. A great guy, he will be missed.

Kirt and I were friends in School and also Facebook for Years. Really suprised me when I read he had passed. I was hoping to see him at the reunion in Sept. I guess he will be there in spirit. See ya someday in the future my friend.

Kirt and I were not in any classes together that I recall; our connection was motor scooters. Kirt had a blue Lambretta and I had a Vespa. We got to know one another as we parked in the designated area in front of Hialeah High. As seniors, we were able to go off campus for lunch and we both traveled up 49th St to the new (new to me at least) Burger King each day. Turns out we both liked our burgers the same way. Kirt and I always ordered a Whopper, plain with only pickles, onion, and ketchup. I always got fries and an orange soda. If I recall, Kirt got a Coke and fries. Once, his Lambretta broke down so he rode on the back of my Vespa for a couple of days. Kirt was a good guy and we had some great laughs at lunch each day in 1964
After graduation, we lost touch and life went on…I am sorry to hear of his passing.

Very sorry to hear of Kirt's passing. I don't remember any classes with Kirt at HHS, but at Filer we had 9th grade Homeroom and I think government class. We conversed at HHS and were buddies there. Got in touch on this site and FB. Thank you for your service in the military and Postal. Both noble endeavors. RIP buddy, you paid your dues and you will be remembered. 🇺🇸✌️
