Sandra was such a classy and beautiful girl. We became friends in senior year, and I especially remember spending the night at her house where she shared her broadway music albums with me and distracted me from the Beatles temporarily. Our lives took us in different directions after graduation. Rest in peace, dear high school friend.
We lost a wonderful man in Hershal Meizius, but God gained a very special angel. I will miss his birthday wish this year. Rest in peace, classmate.
I, also, didn't know Don personally at HHS but was also impressed and touched by the way he chose to live his life. I think many of us fantasize about living such a simple life so in tune to the earth. It is uplifting to hear that one of our classmates had such a unique and fulfilling life doing just what he wanted to do and having so, so many loved ones that he shared that life with. Rest in peace, Donald Voyles.
I, too, didn't know Rufi at HHS personally. What I remember is a special young man who was tall, most often smiling and who stood out in the crowd. When I read his biography, I wasn't surprised. That special young man was destined to be a great adult who led a most impressive life. He must have impacted so many lives in such a positive way. Rest in peace, Rufino.
