Susan, thank you for posting this about Sandy . I too knew her since Miami Springs Elementary and wondered what became of her after we left HHS. So sad to hear that she left us at such a young age. I recall her from both MSE & MSJHS as such a nice person. In our year book she is out of alphabetical order, so for years I thought she was missing from our class and it was not until last year that I found her included.
Susan Hartsfield (Ross)
Sandy West was a friend of mine since we were in Elementary School.
She had gotten ill with Lupus in High School, but fought it for a long time & did very well.
We reconnected back in 1973 & hung around together for quite a long time.
She still had lived in Miami Springs, the same house she had grown up in.
In 1977 she finally lost her battle with the Lupus & passed away.
Missed her very much & remember all the good times we had together in my 1966 Mustang GT.
