We went to Sunday school together. He would always make you laugh. We I needed a ride in bad weather he was there. The brother I never had. Thank you for your service and sacrifice. I believe the lord needed you more. I was there when they laid him to rest. Love Sandy DeHay Meetre
I can't say how many times I have thought of you and remembered that big smile of yours through the years. When my husband and I visited the Wall, it really made your sacrifice so real. You will always be remembered by me as a happy young man walking thru the halls of good ole HHS.
Everyone who met Davey could never forget him. We called him Alabama because of his drawl. He contributed to the fun of swim practices at Hialeah. He was a "good ole boy" and died way too soon as a good man.
David McDonald and i worked at the same time for the Hialeah Recreation Dept while we went to college, in fact his 10 and under football team beat my 10 and under team for the championship the year before he went to Vietnam. He was a class act and some people leave an impression on you forever and David was that kind of person. I am Blessed just by having had him as a friend and i know his soul is up in heaven helping others.
